BRITISH Airways yesterday urged staff to report any drug use by senior colleagues after The Sun’s revelations about its sacked coke shame pilot.
Bosses wrote to their employees following yesterday’s story about Mike Beaton snorting cocaine off a woman’s bare breasts before trying to fly a packed jet to the UK.

They told staff that our story “reinforces our zero tolerance policy to any inappropriate behaviour”.
Employees were also told: “Today’s coverage is a reminder to everyone that we all have an obligation to immediately report any concerns that we have, even if they concern our close colleagues, be they our peers or those more senior to us.”
Yesterday, we told of married dad-of-one Mr Beaton boasting: “I’ve been a very naughty boy.”
In graphic detail, he confessed to getting drunk, ripping off his clothes, taking Class A drugs, and having sex all night with a woman during a romp in a flat — hours before take-off. He said he was so out of it he “couldn’t even lift my head until gone 2”.

But BA bosses were tipped off by a stewardess pal about his drug-fuelled antics and cancelled the flight from Johannesburg to Heathrow.
The First Officer was suspended and flown back to London before taking a drugs test.
It was positive and he was sacked four weeks ago.
Today, we can also reveal BA contacted Scotland Yard about his behaviour and subsequent attempt to fly 430 passengers from South Africa. But the Met Police last night said it was taking no further action over the disgraced pilot, saying it was out of its jurisdiction.

In 2012, he said on social media: “Out getting ratted with a whole bunch of airline pilots and helicopter pilots. I hate my job.”
In December that year, after attending a Christmas party, he wrote: “It’s 17.20 and I’ve just this minute recovered from my hangover enough to sit up.”
Yet, he also tweeted about flight safety, telling budget rival easyJet: “You can employ professionals properly... or you can risk the lives of your passengers.”
