A new video of Yevgeny Prigozhin has resurfaced where he talks assassination attempts (Image: TWITTER)
A new video of Yevgeny Prigozhin has resurfaced, showing the Wagner boss eerily brag about surviving assassinations while conspiracy theories swirl about his death.
The chief and co-founder of the Wagner private military group was on board a private plane that exploded on August 23.
All ten on board had died, with genetic analysis confirming Prigozhin died four days later.
But now, the Wagner-linked Grey Zone Telegram channel has posted a video which showed Prigozhin discuss previous attempts on his life.
“For those who are discussing whether I’m alive or not, how I’m doing — right now it’s the weekend, second half of August 2023, I’m in Africa,” Prigozhin said in the video.
“So for people who like to discuss my liquidation or my private life, how much I earn or whatever else — everything’s OK.”

The footage was posted without comment, or context on when or where it was filmed.
The Grey Zone channel earlier released what it described as some of Prigozhin’s “last” photos from Africa. They made no suggestion Prigozhin is still alive.
But the video release comes as some Russians are convinced he is not dead, and sent a body double to the doomed flight.
Dr. Valery Solovey, former professor at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations, said on YouTube recently: “His [body] double was flying instead of him.
“By the way, Vladimir Putin is perfectly aware of that.”

Solovey then claimed Prigozhin is “alive, well, and free,” and insisted he is “preparing for revenge”.
“He intends to take revenge on people who were intending to destroy him, and destroyed people close to him,” he added.
It comes as Russian commander Anton Yelizarov, 42, dubbed "Lotus" has been chosen to take over control of the Wagner Group
Yelizarov was is said to have been involved in some of the fiercest fighting in the war in Ukraine and played a leading role in Russia's bloody capture of the town of Soledar in Eastern Ukraine.
Yelizarov's exploits earned him the title "conqueror of Soledar" from Prigozhin. The former leader of Wagner is said to have been close to "Lotus" with the latter characterised as a Prigozhin loyalist within the organisation.

Meanwhile, Dr. Yuri Felshtinsky, author of Blowing up Ukraine, told Daily Express US that Prigozhin’s death “smacks of desperation”.
If Putin and Kremlin were truly in charge,” he said, “Prigozhin would have vanished into thin air like Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi, or indeed, the founder of The Wagner Group Dmitry Utkin who as far as we know hasn't been seen alive since 2016.
“Yet, like a bad penny, Utkin suddenly appears dead together on the same plane with his chum Prigozhin in a miracle stroke of luck.”
