A MAN has been arrested after a woman was raped in Greater Manchester.
Police say the victim was attacked in Bury town centre in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Officers attended the scene at about 3.35am and later arrested a man in his 20s on suspicion of rape.
He has since been released under investigation.
The scene was taped off by police as investigations continued.

A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: "Officers received a report around 3.35am on Sunday 11 July of a rape that has occurred earlier that morning on Silver Street, Bury.
"A man in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of rape.
"He has since been released under investigation and enquiries are ongoing."
