ACTOR and entrepreneur Fizo Omar (pic) has urged Internet users to pay more attention to awareness programmes and volunteer work by celebrities rather than finding fault, reported Harian Metro.
He said this following the claim by actress Daiyan Trisha that a vaccination dispensing centre (PPV) volunteer had defamed her by posting an inaccurate statement on social media.
Daiyan said the person had accused her and other celebrities of coming to the centre for “a photo session and leaving after 15 minutes”.Fizo said he was proud that more celebrities were volunteering.
“I appreciate celebrities who volunteer and make posts on social media. We have responsibilities as volunteers but creating awareness is one of them,” he said.
Fizo, with celebrities Nazim Othman, Amelia Henderson, and Puteri Aishah, volunteered at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia PPV in Bangi.
