PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong has urged voters to give the mandate to MCA's Bekok candidate Tan Choong in the Johor polls.
"Tan Choong is no stranger to Bekok voters as he has long served in the Bekok state constituency.
"He has never 'ran' or 'disappeared' from Bekok despite having failed in the last election. This is the last time he will contest and we should give a chance to a candidate who has an excellent service record," the MCA president said.
Dr Wee was speaking at a reception organised by the Persatuan Pekerja dan Pekebun Cha'ah, Segamat.
Also present were Deputy Education Minister and MCA deputy president Datuk Dr Mah Hang Soon and MCA Youth chief Datuk Nicole Wong among others.
