A 26-year-old man was fatally shot Friday night in the Landover area, Prince George’s County police said.

       Police identified the man as Ernesto Gomez, of Landover.

       Officers responded to the 2500 block of Kent Town Place around 8 p.m. for a reported shooting, police said. They found Gomez outside with a gunshot wound.

       He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

       Police have not yet identified a suspect or a motive.

       They said a reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest. Those with information are asked to call detectives at 301-516-2512.
