KUALA LUMPUR: Bukit Aman is investigating claims of non-compliance of standard operating procedure (SOP) at the Police Training Centre (Pulapol) here.

       "We confirmed the allegations at Pulapol KL which have been shared on social media. Along with it were other allegations against the management there,” said Bukit Aman Management Department director Comm Datuk Zaini Jass.

       "Investigations have begun and stern action will be taken if any non-compliance or wrongdoings are proven," he said, adding police viewed the matter seriously.

       Earlier Thursday (June 24), a Facebook posting alleged that Covid-19 SOP non-compliance was prevalent in Pulapol KL.

       Among the allegations included having dinner events despite the MCO being enforced and socialising between trainers and recruits without physical distancing.
