KUALA LUMPUR: The police station chief (OCS) and three other policemen detained during a wild party at a police station have been pulled from active duty and assigned to administrative work.

The OCS with the rank of Sub-Inspector and three other policemen have been transferred to the Kajang police district headquarters' administrative division until investigations are completed.

Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Arjunaidi Mohamed said the transfer order was issued after their alleged involvement in having the party on Tuesday (July 20).

"I confirm that they have been transferred with immediate effect to enable investigations to be conducted.

"Another Sub-Inspector will take over duties of the OCS to ensure all daily matters involving the public and nearby residents run smoothly," he said when contacted on Thursday (July 22).

Comm Arjunaidi said police will not compromise in taking action against police personnel and officers who were involved in criminal activities and misconduct.

"Investigations are being conducted by Kajang police and the Bukit Aman Integrity and Standard Compliance Department (JIPS).

"We are still waiting for the full report of the investigations," he added.
