The Liberal Democrats, who secured the debate are calling for a statutory public inquiry into Boris Johnson's administration. The Prime Minister is also facing pressure as to how the refurbishment of his Downing Street flat was funded but he will not attend Monday's debate despite some saying the Government needs to "get a grip" on the situation to rebuild public trust.
