       A beautiful commuter town in the UK is home to the country’s most expensive street. Weybridge is situated on the River Wey in the northern part of Surrey, approximately 20 miles southwest of central London.

       The small town is bordered by the towns of Walton-on-Thames to the east and Byfleet to the west.

       The town has good transportation links, with Weybridge railway station providing regular services to London Waterloo, making it a popular commuter town for those working in the capital.

       It is also easily accessible by road, being close to the M25 motorway.

       Weybridge is also known for its affluent residential areas, with a mix of housing types including detached houses, semi-detached houses, terraced houses, and apartments.

       It is characterised by leafy streets, green spaces, and attractive architecture.

       A recent survey by Rightmove Old Avenue in Weybridge, Surrey, had the highest average asking price for properties in 2024 so far, at £2.6m outside London.

       There are several primary and secondary schools, both state-funded and independent that offers quality education to the local community.

       There are also options for further education and adult learning in the surrounding area.
