Through tonight: West-northwesterly wind gusts diminish with time. Briefly clear skies early give way to increasing cloudiness toward and after midnight. Raindrop chances start rising as we cloud over. The most that a weak wave or two of rain may produce is a tenth of an inch — but that’s the optimistic scenario. Low temperatures bottom out in the mid-40s to around 50 degrees.

Tomorrow (Sunday): Lingering clouds and a couple of showery waves are possible through the morning, especially early. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is currently expected. Sunshine tries to reestablish itself, along with northwesterly wind gustiness toward 30 mph, during the afternoon. High temperatures top out in the upper 50s to low 60s, with wind chills feeling a few degrees cooler.

Overnight, wind gusts are a bit slower to get under 20 mph but at least we’ll have clear, starry skies to enjoy with the dry air moving in. Low temperatures aim for the upper 30s to mid-40s with first frosts perhaps just 24 hours away due to calm winds expected Monday night.

The National Weather Service forecasts lower but still noticeable gusts tomorrow, near 30 mph in some spots.
