Exhausted UK technicians in Germany have been ordered to "keep the ammo flowing " to support Ukraine's effort in Russia.
It follows reports that British tanks have also been used for the biggest invasion on Russian soil since the Second World War, which entered its 13th day today.

And on Friday Russia's foreign ministry said Ukraine had used Western rockets to destroy a bridge over the Seym river in the Kursk region.
Britain became the first nation to supply Ukraine with Western-made Main Battle Tanks when PM Rishi Sunak pledged 14 Challenger 2s last year.
But London is also providing vital munitions, small arms and complex weapons systems for the effort, which has caught Moscow off-guard and boosted Kyiv’s leverage.

A “rolling conveyor belt” of military convoys is said to be trundling its way from a British depot in Germany to Ukraine.
The Wulfen munitions storage facility in Saxony-Anhalt remains one of the few hangovers from Britain’s Cold War presence in Germany, and is the UK’s only munitions story outside mainland Britain.
Operated by the MoD’s Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S) agency, its aim is to deliver munitions and weapons systems to all three services operating on mainland Europe, as well as Ukraine itself.
The UK was forced to order new stocks of munitions after it donated more than 300,000 rounds of artillery ammunition – including 155mm and Former Soviet Union calibres.
This accompanied anti-tank missiles, artillery guns, air defence systems, armoured fighting vehicles, anti-structure munitions, and three M270 long-range multiple launch rocket systems.

The bulk of the current deliveries are thought to be Challenger 2 ammunition and 155 mm artillery shells, after a £190m order was placed with BAe systems to deliver an eightfold increase in production capacity.
“The provision of these munitions in recent weeks made it possible for Ukraine to launch its surprise attack on Russia,” said a senior source based at the DE&S HQ in Bristol.
“We have been ordered to ensure that every effort is made to keep the supplies rolling from Germany on a 24-hours a day basis, and we are endeavouring to do this despite the immense pressures involved."

Kyiv has claimed to have taken control of 82 settlements over an area of 440 square miles in the region since Aug. 6.
The incursion, which has been branded a complete Russian intelligence failure, has seen Ukrainian forces seize as much as two miles of territory near Kursk in one day.
In the meantime, Russia continued its own operations against Ukraine.
Yesterday two people were injured after a Russian long range Iskander-K cruise missile struck the Ukrainian city of Sumy.
Ukraine's air force also said it had shot down 14 Russian drones overnight, including over the Kyiv region.
Both the UK and US support the use of Western equipment for the offensive, arguing that it is part of Ukraine’s legitimate persecution of Russia’s illegal invasion in 2022.
The exception remains long-range Storm Shadow missiles, which are capable of hitting targets deep inside Russia.
They were first offered by the UK, but with restrictions on their usage.
Last night Ukrainian MP Oleksiy Goncharenkos said Ukraine's success should persuade the West to lift restrictions on such weapons are used against Russia.

"For more than one week, for the first time since the Second World War, Russian territory is occupied. And what is the reaction? Just some mumbling from Putin," said Mr Goncharenko.
"I hope that this will help us to convince our allies that Ukraine is capable of big successes and to win this war, so finally our hands will be untied," he said, adding that Ukraine needs permission to use the UK's Storm Shadow missiles deep into Russian territory.
He continued: "Russia only understands one language, the language of force, and Ukraine has shown it now."
