The James Bond movie franchise, of which there have been 25 films, is considered an icon of British cinema. So it's unsurprising that members of the Royal Family often attend the London premiere every time a new film is released. So for the film's premiere in London, the Royal Family pulled out all the stops for the red carpet.
Prince Charles and his then-wife, Diana, Princess of Wales, were both in attendance for the event.

But this time, the film had a brand new actor playing the lead role of James Bond.
Casino Royale marked the first film of Daniel Craig's run as the iconic British spy.
This premiere was held at the Odeon in Leicester Square.

In attendance this time were Kate, Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William.
The royal couple were joined by William's brother, Prince Harry, as they walked the red carpet.
