A single mum struggling financially was left stunned when a pair of self-made millionaires offered to help her establish her dream business.

Angie, from Loch Lomond in Scotland, survives on just £112 a week with her two daughters, Gracie and Poppy.

She was thrilled when given the opportunity to start her own crochet business with the assistance of millionaires Monika and Clifford, during an episode of Channel 5's Rich House, Poor House.

Monica and Clifford, who share a sprawling estate in Scotland, have a combined annual income of £3.5million. The couple swapped lives with Angie, each spending a week in the other's home and adjusting to their vastly different weekly budgets.

Angie was overjoyed when, at the end of the swap, the generous business owners offered to assist her in setting up a small business selling her crochet creations.

Angie, who balances studying law with her part-time job at a call centre, confessed that she often wakes up extremely early to find time to study, a routine that leaves her "absolutely knackered" and longing for more time with her children.

In a bid to provide her and her two children with some much-needed family time, Monika and Clifford generously offered the hardworking mother a complimentary holiday for some well-earned relaxation.

An overwhelmed Angie was rendered speechless upon learning that she would not only have the opportunity to earn extra income through a new business venture but also enjoy a getaway with her two daughters.

Clifford assured Angie that he and his wife had enjoyed a "fabulous time" at her residence, praising her "beautiful community" and close-knit neighbourhood.

Angie reflected: "My biggest takeaway with my girls is that they do want me to be with them more. They don't feel like they miss out on anything."

Upon discovering her remarkable crochet skills, the entrepreneurial couple were eager to assist in developing a business plan to monetise her talent.

Monika revealed she had "several ideas" on how to launch the business, leaving Angie visibly delighted. After establishing the business for Angie, the duo planned to hand over the reins when she felt ready to take charge.

An overwhelmed and thrilled Angie responded: "That's incredibly kind of you and not something I'd be able to do on my own."

But the generosity didn't stop there. The affluent couple extended another offer, proposing to send Angie and her children on a holiday, allowing them some quality time without financial worries.

Clifford also disclosed that they would assist Angie in adopting a brood of chickens after they lost their previous flock of chickens to a fox just a few months prior to filming.
