KUALA LUMPUR: Awanbiru Technology Bhd 's wholly owned subsidiary has entered into a RM75.89mil contract with Pernec Integrated Network Systems Sdn Bhd for the supply of Google workspace solution and support services for a unified communication and collaborative service managed by Pernec.

       In a bourse filing, the group said its subsidiary Awantec Systems Sdn Bhd had signed the deal with Pernec for a period commencing Nov 25, 2021, to Feb 13, 2024.

       Barring unforeseen circumstances, Awantec's entry into the agreement is expected to have a positive impact on the earnings per share and net tangible assets per share for the current financial year ending 30 June 2022, it said.

       At midday break, shares in Awanbiru were last traded 1.5 sen or 2.16% lower at 68 sen apiece for a market capitalisation of RM482.5mil.
