KUALA LUMPUR: Top Glove Corp Bhd has received the go-ahead from the United States government and is allowed to resume exporting and selling gloves to the US.

       In a statement yesterday, the company said the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has affirmed that the disposable gloves made by Top Glove in Malaysia are no longer in violation of its laws and would be admissible at all US ports of entry as of yesterday.

       “Top Glove wishes to express its utmost appreciation to CBP for its responsiveness in modification of the finding. Top Glove also wishes to thank the Malaysian government and the company’s valued stakeholders for their support and understanding in this matter,” the glove maker said.
