Detectives are still searching for a man accused of murder in the slaying of an Austin neighborhood woman who had obtained an order of protection against him weeks before she was killed, police said.

       Kenneth Brown, 44, earlier was charged with first-degree murder in the death of 34-year-old Maria Roque, who shot to death Dec. 13 in the 500 block of North Long Avenue.

       Friday, a community alert was sent out asking for information on Brown’s whereabouts and also cautioned people that he was armed and dangerous, asking people to call 911 immediately with his location.

       Saturday morning, Chicago police said Brown was still wanted and detectives were investigating.
