AMMAN, March 21 (Xinhua) -- The unemployment rate in Jordan rose by 0.1 percent to 23.3 percent in the fourth quarter of 2021, compared with the third quarter of the same year.

       The male unemployment rate is 21.4 percent, and the rate for women is 30.7 percent, the state-run Petra news agency reported, citing the report revealed by the Jordanian Department of Statistics.

       Moreover, the unemployment rate among university degree holders has risen to 27.2 percent, said the report.
