Penny Mordaunt acting as sword bearer

Penny Mordaunt revealed she is selling her iconic Coronation dress because it has become so recognisable she feels she cannot wear it again.
The Commons Leader plans to sell the gown to fund projects in her Portsmouth North Constituency.

Ms Mordaunt stole the show at the King's Coronation last May with her sword-wielding role.
The 50-year-old told The Sunday Times’s Style magazine: “I can never wear it again – unless I’m going to a fancy dress party as myself!
“It struck me ... it’s such an iconic dress that it ought to go on and do some other good things.”

The ￡1,200 teal caped dress was made by Safiyaa, while she wore a headpiece from Jane Taylor.
Both were embroidered with a gold leaf motif by Hand & Lock.
Ms Mordaunt was the first woman to have carried out the ceremonial sword role at a coronation.
She said: “My predecessor at the last coronation would have worn the court dress of the privy council, which is beautiful but obviously designed for a man.
