In February, Buckingham Palace announced that Meghan Markle and Harry would not be returning to the Royal Family. Shortly after the announcement, the Duke’s appearance on Mr Corden’s ‘The Late Late Show’ aired.

       Mr Corden spoke to US radio icon Howard Stern about the Duke’s decision to leave the Royal Family.

       The ‘Gavin & Stacey’ star told the host: “I cannot imagine any of it is easy.

       “But I do not think any person in such a position in his life is easy. I have never really spoken about it to him in-depth.

       “The Harry you saw on the clip we did on the open-top bus, that to me is a great reflection of the person I know.”

       On the show, Mr Corden also shared he keeps in touch with the Duke.

       He added: “He lives in Santa Barbara, an hour-and-a-half away, so I have not seen him a huge amount.

       “I am in contact with him. I am very fond of him.”

       Mr Stern tried to ask the ‘Late Late Show’ host about Harry’s anger over Princess Diana and Prince Charles’ divorce, but Mr Corden refused to answer.

       He said instead: “I would never begin to speak about his experiences because I am absolutely uneducated in such a way to talk about such a thing.”

       Earlier this year, Harry insisted to Mr Corden he and Meghan did not “walk away” the Royal Family.

       The Duke claimed: “My life is always going to be about public service and Meghan signed up to that.”

       He also added life as a Royal was a “really difficult environment” and criticised the press, saying it was “destroying my mental health”.
