Oprah on if Harry and Meghan should attend coronation

       Oprah Winfrey continues to ignore rumours that she “shunned” Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as she enjoys a break on the Amalfi Coast.

       The star was pictured on Tuesday, enjoying an alfresco meal in the beachfront restaurant Lo Scoglio in Nerano, which has previously been visited by stars including Sting, David Beckham and Jennifer Lopez.

       She looked stunning after showcasing her weight loss in a casual white outfit of a T-shirt and cropped trousers, teamed with trainers.

       Her break comes as rumours continue to swirl as to why the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were absent from her star-studded 69th birthday party in January.

       The trio used to be very close and Oprah was even invited to their wedding, and famously conducted an interview with the couple in March of 2021.

       In the interview, the couple revealed to the talk show host their personal reasons for deciding to leave the royal family. The interview was one of the most-watched of Oprah's career, with an audience of over 7.1 million.

       However, the party took place after the release of their bombshell Netflix documentary and Harry's memoir Spare.

       At the time, royal commentator Hilary Fordwich told Fox News Digital it would be wise for the Sussexes to lie low as the now-King Charles was preparing for his coronation.

       “They both know, as we all do, that the huge issue is the upcoming coronation," she said.

       "Neither Harry nor Meghan can really risk further damage. “Their long-term prospects and entire relevance are at play."

       Neither side has publicly commented on their absence from the A-list event, and it is unknown if they were even invited.

       Express.co.uk has contacted representatives for Oprah Winfrey and for Prince Harry and Meghan Markley for comment.

       The glamourous celebration was organised by Anastasia Soare, the businesswoman behind Anastasia Beverly Hills, in her home at California.

       Kim Kardashian was in attendance, posting some pictures on her Instagram Story with the caption, “Happy Birthday @oprah.

       “Sharon Stone said it best last night toasting you that you mean the world to the world! Happy birthday!”
