Trains on the CTA Red Line were “running normally” Monday morning after a train that stalled at the Roosevelt station caused a service suspension on part of the line for about 90 minutes.

The Red Line service was suspended between Fullerton and Sox-35th starting about 6:45 a.m., according to CTA alerts. The service resumed about 8:20 a.m. with residual delays and congestion and was back to normal by 9 a.m., according to the CTA.

CTA offered shuttles between Sox-35th and Fullerton stations and recommended people allow extra time from transit.
