IPOH: A lorry driver died after his vehicle hit another lorry at KM231.9 northbound on the North-South Expressway near Kuala Kangsar.

       According to the Perak Fire and Rescue Department, the victim has been identified as Abdul Rahim Sulaiman.

       “We received the distress call at 8.12am and upon arriving at the scene, we saw the two lorries and the body was stuck at the driver's seat between these two vehicles," he said.

       “We had to use special tools and a stretcher to pull out the body before handing it to the police for further action,” the spokesman added.
