KOTA KINABALU: A new Covid-19 cluster was reported in Sabah on Thursday (Nov 18), involving a secondary school hostel in Ranau district.
Sabah Covid-19 spokesman Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said the Kemburongoh cluster's index case was a student staying at the SMK Kemburongoh dorm.
"The cluster involved students staying at the hostel, the school warden and his family members.
"So far, 22 individuals tested positive," he said.
Meanwhile, Sabah recorded 541 new infections on Thursday, lower than 599 the previous day.
Kota Kinabalu (93 cases) and Penampang (60) have the highest cases, Masidi added.
