Prince Harry is hoping to "find himself" as he and Meghan Markle head in different career paths following the collapse of their deal with Spotify, it has been claimed.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex suffered a blow last night when they and the online music streamer released a joint statement announcing their bumper deal had come to a mutual end.

The couple signed a $20million agreement with Spotify in 2020 after they relocated from the UK to the US when stepping down as senior working members of the Royal Family.

Harry and Meghan still have their huge $100million deal with Netflix, and it now appears the prince will turn his attention to a huge new solo project with the online streaming giant.

The Duke of Sussex is reportedly now focusing on his planned documentary in Africa. It's also where he feels "most like himself" and even considers it a "second home", according to a source speaking to RadarOnline.

The couple are reported to be heading in different career paths, with a source telling RadarOnline that Harry "doesn’t fit in Meghan’s tacky Tinseltown world" and that the royal is hoping to "find himself".

Another project extremely close to Harry's heart is set to premiere on Netflix next month.

Heart of Invictus follows a group of competitors, from around the globe, all service members who have suffered life-changing injuries or illnesses, on their road to the Invictus Games in The Hague last year.

Prince Harry founded the Invictus Games in 2014, with his inspiration coming from his visit to the Warrior Games in the US a year earlier, where he witnessed the ability of sport to help both psychologically and physically.

When Heart of Invictus was announced in April 2021, Harry, who is also co-founder of Archewell Productions, said in a statement: "Since the very first Invictus Games back in 2014, we knew that each competitor would contribute in their own exceptional way to a mosaic of resilience, determination, and resolve.

"This series will give communities around the world a window into the moving and uplifting stories of these competitors on their path to the Netherlands next year.

"As Archewell Productions’ first series with Netflix, in partnership with the Invictus Games Foundation, I couldn’t be more excited for the journey ahead or prouder of the Invictus community for continuously inspiring global healing, human potential and continued service."

Netflix recently reaffirmed its commitment to the partnership with Meghan and Harry, quashing speculation it may be in danger of following the couple's agreement with Spotify, which has mutually ended.

A spokesperson for the streaming giant told Entertainment Tonight: "The bond with Archewell Productions is one we deeply value. Harry and Meghan launched as Netflix's most spectacular documentary debut to date.

"Our exciting journey with them isn't ending anytime soon. We're currently collaborating on numerous projects, including the much-anticipated documentary series Heart of Invictus."

Meanwhile, speculation has been swirling that Meghan could be considering a return to acting as she plots her next career move.

The Duchess of Sussex had starred as Rachel Zane in his US legal drama series Suits for several years before she met her future husband Harry in 2016.

Earlier this month, it was reported Meghan is being considered for a part in a proposed sequel to the 1992 box office hit The Bodyguard.

The original movie saw the late Whitney Houston playing a singer called Rachel Marron, who enlists bodyguard and former Secret Service agent Frank Farmer (played by Kevin Costner) after she gets a sinister stalker tracking her every move.

Costner, who also served as a producer on the original movie, is said to be pitching the sequel with Meghan apparently interested.

A source told New Idea magazine: "The only thing Kevin loves more than an underdog like Meghan is a box office hit."
