Lotto, the nation’s favourite National Lottery game, is offering a rollover jackpot of ￡5.1 million tonight after Saturday night’s draw failed to find a winner. Lucky Brits could see their dreams come true and become millionaires overnight if they scoop the jackpot.

       Lotto jackpots roll over after a draw if no ticket matches the draw results, with the fifth rollover becoming a ‘Must Be Won’ prize.

       Even if the jackpot isn’t won, players can still get their hands on a range of cash prizes if they match some of the winning numbers.

       If you get five main numbers and the bonus ball, you’ll bag yourself ￡1 million - if you get five main numbers, you’ll get a cool ￡1,750 in your pocket.

       The probability of winning any prize in the Lotto currently stands at 1:42.

       Lotto is by far the most popular draw in the UK, with around 15 to 45 million tickets sold for each entry.

       Lotto draws take place on Wednesdays and Saturdays each week, giving you two goes per week at the jackpot.

       Lotto tickets can be bought from 6am to 11pm every day of the week, including draw days until 7.30pm, and it only costs ￡2 to play.

       All you have to do is pick six numbers from one to 59 and a bonus ball and wait for the draw to roll in.

       Alternatively, you can opt for a Lucky Dip - this will randomly generate the numbers for you.

       Each time you play you can fill up to seven lines of numbers, with a limit of 10 slips at a time.

       There’s no limit on entering both weekly draws, and entering both draws does not limit whether you can play other National Lottery games like the EuroMillions.

       If you bought your ticket online via the National Lottery app or website, you will receive an email about your winnings.

       This isn’t automatic, so may take some time to come through - so don’t panic if you don’t hear from the National Lottery immediately.

       If you bought your ticket the old-fashioned way in a store, you can still use the National Lottery app or website to check if its a winner.

       Scan the barcode using the app or enter your numbers into the website and it will instantly tell you if you’ve won a prize or not.
