PETALING JAYA: Country Heights Holdings Bhd (CHHB) has entered into several agreements to develop an omnichannel business model in Malaysia in line with its digital transformation plan.
CHHB has signed a joint-venture agreement with Starpulse Sdn Bhd, which paves the way for it to undertake licensing and collaboration agreements with Beijing Wodong Tianjun Information Technology Co Ltd (JD.com) to develop an omnichannel, or multi-channel, business model in Malaysia.
It will be setting up JDMines Sdn Bhd in a 70:30 venture, with CHHB holding the larger portion, to operate this digital initiative. Starpulse Sdn Bhd, a technology incubator, will hold 30%.
CHHB said JDMines would license the platform and system from JD.com. In a statement, it said JDMines will also build a physical store of about 100,000 sq ft on the ground floor of the Mines International Exhibition and Convention Centre in Selangor. — Bernama
