A RANGE Rover has hit and killed a motorcyclist after being chased by cops - as a probe is launched into the killer crash.
The horror pursuit happened on the A3 near Putney Common, south-west London, on Monday morning at around 12.25am when the car failed to stop for police.

Shortly after, the Range Rover collided with a motorbike and overturned on the residential street.
Sadly, nothing could be done to save the motorcyclist and they were declared dead at the scene.
It is not yet known what sparked the chase.
The occupant of the car was not seriously injured, say cops.

An independent investigation was declared just hours later at 5.49am.
The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) is looking into the involvement of the Met Police prior to the fatal crash.
It is understood they were notified by the force shortly after - with IOPC investigators attending the scene.
The driver of the Range Rover has now been arrested and is in custody, cops have said.

The driver of the Range Rover has been arrested on suspicion of failing to stop for police, causing death by dangerous driving, theft of a motor vehicle and driving under the influence of drugs.
Any witnesses yet to speak with police or anyone with dashcam footage is asked to contact the Met via 101, ref 110/29jan.
