PETALING JAYA: The number of Covid-19 vaccination doses administered in the country has crossed the seven million mark on Friday (June 25).
In a tweet on Saturday (June 25), the Special Committee for Ensuring Access to Covid-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV) said a total of 7,039,072 doses had been administered as at 11.59pm on June 25.
According to the JKJAV, a total of 1,966,358 people had completed two doses of the vaccine and 5,072,714 individuals had received the first dose.
The five states that recorded the highest number of double-dose recipients were Selangor with 262,635 individuals, followed by Sarawak (202,741), Johor (201,340), Perak (181,545) and Kuala Lumpur (170,594).
On daily vaccination under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme, a total of 215,968 doses were administered on Friday involving 148,380 first-dose recipients and 67,588 second-dose recipients.
The number of daily doses administered had crossed the 250,000 mark for three consecutive days from June 22-24.
