PETALING JAYA: Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin is experiencing mild symptoms after testing positive for Covid-19.
The former prime minister said the infection was detected in an RT-PCR test he took yesterday.
The Perikatan Nasional chairman said he would abide by the Health Ministry’s standard operating procedure to self-quarantine at home.
“Alhamdulillah (Praise be to God), I only have mild symptoms and am well. To anyone who might have been my close contact, my advice is to abide by the protocols set by the Health Ministry,” he said on Facebook.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob prayed for Muhyiddin’s swift recovery.
In his tweet, Ismail Sabri also prayed for the chairman of the National Recovery Council and of his family, reported Bernama.
