PETALING JAYA: KPower Bhd has redesignated Mustakim Mat Nun (pic) as executive chairman from his previous role as deputy chairman with immediate effect.

       In a statement, the construction and engineering solutions company yesterday said Mustakim would be responsible for leading KPower’s board of directors and overseeing the group’s business in his role as executive chairman. Currently, Mustakim is also the group managing director.

       Datuk Mohd Abdul Karim Abdullah has ceased to be a substantial shareholder in KPower after disposing of 79.05 million shares in a series of transactions.
