An early evening shooting attack in West Town left four people wounded, two of them critically, authorities said.
Several shell casings were found in about a two-block radius of the intersection of Milwaukee and Grand avenues and Halsted Street after the shooting, which happened between 5:15 and 5:30 p.m., said Chicago Fire Chief Walter Schroeder.
Two of the people shot, all of whom were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, were in serious to critical condition while the other two were in good condition, Schroeder said.
