TOKYO (Kyodo) -- Kodai Senga, who is slated to pitch for Japan at the upcoming Tokyo Olympics, was treated roughly on Tuesday after a three-month injury layoff, the SoftBank Hawks ace getting shelled for 10 runs in an 11-3 Pacific League loss to the Lotte Marines.

Senga (1-1), who hurt his ankle in his April 6 season debut, threw hard but lacked touch and command. He allowed nine hits and three walks, while striking out none of the 20 batters he faced over 2-2/3 innings at Chiba's Zozo Marine Stadium.

The 28-year-old right-hander was named to Japan's Olympic team on Monday after Yomiuri Giants ace Tomoyuki Sugano pulled out.

The Marines opened the scoring in the first inning, when Kyota Fujiwara tripled and scored on Shogo Nakamura's double, before the Marines then put the game away early with a nine-run third in which Senga issued back-to-back bases-loaded walks and gave up three RBI doubles, two to Fujiwara.

At Kyocera Dome Osaka, Brandon Dixon homered off Orix Buffaloes closer and former major leaguer Yoshihisa Hirano to lead off a five-run ninth inning in the Rakuten Eagles' 7-2 win over the PL leaders.

At Asahikawa Starffin Stadium, Yuto Takahama hit a game-ending RBI double in the ninth inning, lifting the Nippon Ham Fighters to a 4-3 win over the Seibu Lions. Tokyo Olympian Kaima Taira (1-1) surrendered the run, snapping his record streak of consecutive games without being charged with a run at 39.

At Tokyo's Jingu Stadium, Koyo Aoyagi (8-2) allowed five hits and two walks over eight scoreless innings as the Central League-leading Hanshin Tigers beat the third-place Yakult Swallows 5-1.

At Gunma's Shikishima Stadium, Dayan Viciedo reached base four times and singled in the tie-breaking run in the eighth inning as the Chunichi Dragons came from behind to beat the second-place Yomiuri Giants 3-2.

At Hiroshima's Mazda Stadium, Tyler Austin, who will play in the Tokyo Olympics for the United States, hit a game-tying two-run home run and Keita Sano's two-run home run broke an eighth-inning tie as the DeNA BayStars came from behind to beat the Hiroshima Carp 4-2.
