GEORGE TOWN: Star Media Group Berhad (SMG) has donated a sum of RM27,600 to Penang Governor’s Charity Foundation (Yayasan Amal Tuan Yang Terutama Yang di-Pertua Negri Pulau Pinang) on Wednesday (Jan 24).

       The mock cheque was handed over by SMG group chief executive officer Alex Yeow to the foundation CEO, Datuk Seri Rozali Mohamud, in a ceremony held at a hotel, here.

       Ahmad Fuzi was present to witness the handover.

       Earlier he arrived at about 8.10pm at the hotel restaurant and was welcomed by Yeow, Rozali, M Summit group managing director Datuk Albert Moh and other invited dignitaries.

       After the handing over ceremony, Ahmad Fuzi was accompanied by Yeow and Rozali to perform the Yee Sang tossing ceremony with other invited guests.

       Ahmad Fuzi and the invited dignitaries then proceeded to dinner that was held at the restaurant.

       The event ended at about 11pm.
