KUCHING: Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) chairman Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg has arrived at Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu headquarters here to unveil the list of candidates for the coalition ahead of the state election on Dec 18.
He arrived at 4.05pm Friday (Dec 3), accompanied by PBB deputy president Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas and several bodyguards.
Earlier, GPS candidates were seen arriving, some of them former assemblymen, along with a number of new faces.
Among those seen was Bintulu MP Datuk Tiong King Sing, who is expected to contest a state seat in his constituency.
Reporters, photographers and videographers had staked out the venue since 2.30pm.
