KUALA LUMPUR: A senior citizen was killed in an accident in Jalan Duta here on Thursday (Dec 2) night.

       City Traffic Investigation and Enforcement chief Asst Comm Sarifudin Mohd Salleh said in a statement on Friday (Dec 3) that the 8.10pm incident occurred when the victim, a 73-year-old motorcyclist, hit the back of a car.

       "Investigations showed that the man was heading towards the DUKE Highway at the time and that he lost control of his vehicle, leading to the fatal accident.

       "The victim suffered head injuries and died at the scene," he said

       A post-mortem will be conducted at Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, he added.
