The American footballer and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were invited to the White House on Tuesday to celebrate the team’s win. The visit marked Mr Brady’s first appearance at the Executive Residence since 2005, when George W Bush was President.
During the event, Mr Brady appeared to make reference to former President Trump as he referred to himself as “Sleepy Tom”.
Mr Trump has previously referred to Mr Biden as "Sleepy Joe" on his now-defunct Twitter account.
Mr Brady said: “We found our rhythm, we got on a roll.
“Not a lot of people, you know, think that we could have won.
“About 40 percent of the people still don’t think we won.
“You understand that, Mr President?”
Mr Biden replied: “I understand that.”
Mr Brady then added: “And personally, it’s nice for me to be back here.
“We had a game in Chicago where I forgot what down it was.
