PETALING JAYA: Traffic flow into the Klang Valley is congested along major highways on Friday (May 6) as people return home after Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
A spokesman of the Malaysian Highway Authority (MHA) said along the Kuala Lumpur- Karak Expressway, heavy traffic was detected from Karak heading towards Lentang on Friday.

"Along the North-South Expressway, from the north, heavy traffic was also detected from Juru towards Sungkai.
"From the south, traffic was also heavy from Simpang Ampat towards Port Dickson," he said when contacted on Friday.
He said heavy traffic was expected to persist from Friday to Sunday (May 8) as people head back to the Klang Valley.
"Motorists are advised to plan their journeys accordingly," he said.
Bukit Aman Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department principal assistant director (enforcement) Supt Dr Bakri Zainal Abidin urged motorists to be patient and abide by the traffic regulations.
"Be patient with each other and ensure that your vehicles are roadworthy and well maintained before driving.
"Our police personnel will be on patrol to ensure that traffic runs smoothly and everyone abides by the traffic rules," he said.
