The incident involving two cars and a van took place just after 7am at Junction 11 anticlockwise for the A320 St Peters Way (Chertsey).

       All lanes have now reopened but there are still long delays.

       There are seven miles of traffic on the anticlockwise carriageway.

       Congestion goes back to Junction 13 A30 (Staines).

       Inrix, an online traffic update service, said: "Long delays and queueing traffic for six miles due to earlier accident, two cars and a van involved on M25 anticlockwise at J11 A320 St Peters Way (Chertsey).

       "Congestion to J13 A30 (Staines). Travel time is 35 minutes. All lanes have been re-opened."

       Motorway cameras show heavy traffic on the anticlockwise carriageway following the accident.
