Nigel Farage has shut down Rachel Reeves’s suggestion that she saved Scunthorpe steelworks. Reform’s leader hit out at the Chancellor during her Spending Review on Wednesday when she claimed credit for saving British Steel.
Mr Farage shouted "that was us!" after his party led calls for nationalisation. But Ms Reeves hit back by sayig it "wasn't the action of that metal trader but of this Labour government".
