PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 32,800 new Covid-19 infections on Friday (March 11), says the Health Ministry.
According to the CovidNow portal, this has brought the total number of infections in the country to 3,774,786 cases since the pandemic began.
The Health Ministry reported that there were 541 imported Covid-19 cases, while 32,259 cases were local transmissions.
It also said that there were 24,444 recoveries on Friday, and a total of 332,700 active cases in Malaysia.
Meanwhile, 76 deaths were reported, with 21 brought-in-dead.
A total of 380 patients are warded in intensive care units (ICU), with 2,684 hospitalised throughout the country.
