At approximately 2:30 p.m., Prince William County police notified Fairfax County police that a black Dodge Charger had arrived at a hospital with a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim, 23-year-old Bryant Anthony Gillis of Woodbridge, died at the hospital, police said.
Detectives determined that a friend of Gillis drove him to the hospital. Police say the shooting does not appear to be random. They did not release any information about a potential suspect and say they are investigating.
Attempts to locate Gillis’s relatives were not immediately successful.
