A WOMAN who ordered Greggs sausage rolls to help ease a hangover was “gutted” when one came with no meat.
Kayleigh O’Brien woke up at home feeling a bit flaky after a night out and decided some food would perk her up.

The PA, 30, went on the Just Eat delivery app and plumped for Greggs because she and her boyfriend both fancied a sausage roll.
But when their meals arrived, Kayleigh realised one of the rolls was missing a very key ingredient.
She said: “We ordered two sausage rolls, a chicken and bacon baguette, a tuna sandwich and a couple of coffees. But when the food was delivered, one of the rolls felt way too light.”
She added: “I turned to my boyfriend and said, ‘This hasn’t got a sausage in it.’ But he didn’t believe me. I took a video of me cutting it open for proof.”
Kayleigh and her boyfriend ended up having to split the only full sausage roll between them, before she sent the video evidence to Just Eat.
She said: “I couldn’t understand how they didn’t tell there wasn’t a sausage inside. I was gutted. Everyone loves Greggs sausage rolls and I really fancied one that day.”

She added: “The meat inside is a pretty big part of the experience.”
After sharing a video of her empty pastry on Twitter, users joked it must have been a vegetarian sausage roll. One quipped: “Ohhh this is the new vegan sausage roll.” Another said: “Plot twist — it’s vegan.”
Just Eat has refunded Kayleigh, of Warwick, and Greggs apologised and sent her a ￡5 voucher.
