The Yorkshire store was decorated in photos of Richmond in London
One showed a signpost for the Thames Path, while another featured boats in front of the capital’s Richmond Bridge.
The pretty North Yorkshire market town of Richmond is in Rishi Sunak’s constituency, whereas its southern counterpart lies in the London borough of Richmond-upon-Thames.
Councillor Ian Woods, mayor of the Yorkshire town, said: “This is a common mishap.
"If we had a pound for every time someone contacts us about Richmond-upon-Thames, we would be very rich indeed.”

The mayor revealed that the mix-up between the towns is the fault of Henry VII, who was also Lord of Richmond.
When a fire destroyed one of his Surrey palaces in 1497 he rebuilt it and named it Richmond Palace.
Councillor Woods said: “He also renamed the whole area around the palace as Richmond.
“We were the first — the name comes from the French ‘Richemont’, which means Strong Hill.”

Locals had a laugh at Greggs’ blunder.
Gary Jefferson said: “The irony is Greggs is a Newcastle-based company.”
Roderic Ellis fumed: “People have been brainwashed into believing there is only the London Richmond.”
And Richmond’s longest-serving town councillor, Clive World, 71, added: “You would think Greggs might have made more of an effort with this being the Prime Minister’s constituency.”
