Princess Beatrice has been spotted in the Royal Box at Wimbledon today with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. The royal was beaming in a white dotted dress, under which her baby bump could be clearly seen.

       In one sweet picture the elder daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson could be seen cradling her baby bump.

       In another, Edoardo let his wife pass in front of him and sit down first on the stands.

       The couple, who were then snapped watching the match intently, were not the only members of the Royal Family at Wimbledon today.

       Sophie, Countess of Wessex, was photographed a few metres away from Beatrice.

       Edoardo and Princess Beatrice announced in May they are expecting their first child together.

       A brief statement shared by Buckingham Palace on May 19 read: "Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in autumn of this year.

       "The Queen has been informed and both families are delighted with the news."

       Edoardo and Beatrice's baby will be the 12th great-grandchild of the Queen.

       The child will arrive after the birth of three more royal babies this year.

       On February 9, Princess Beatrice became the aunt of August Philip Hawke - the firstborn of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank.

       In late March, Zara and Mike Tindall welcomed their third child and first son, Lucas Philip.

       And on June 4, Meghan Markle gave birth to Lilibet Diana, the second child of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

       Princess Beatrice and Edoardo are also preparing to celebrate their first wedding anniversary.

       The couple was due to get married in May last year but had to postpone their nuptials due to the coronavirus pandemic.

       Edoardo and Beatrice chose to hold a private and socially distanced wedding on July 17 2020, counting among their few guests also the Queen and Prince Philip.

       Edoardo's best man reportedly was his five-year-old son Christopher, born from the property developer's relationship with architect Dara Huang.

       Beatrice has made Christopher "a part of her life from the outset", according to a source who previously spoke to People.

       Beatrice opened up on her relationship with her step-son in an article she penned in the Evening Standard to mark World Book Day.

       She said: "This year, I had the great honor to become a stepmother, and have had the most remarkable time going back over some of my most favorite stories at bedtime.

       "Together, we had such a special time reading through all the entries for Oscars Book Prize 2020.

       "My stepson has been, as many children have, home schooling this term.

       "Helping him to engage with stories is a great journey to inspire imagination, creativity, independence and humour.

       "If you have not yet read the Oi Frog books by Kes Grey and Jim Field, they have fast become our favourite."

       She concluded: "We have all had to learn new ways to cope with the strangest of times.

       "For our family, reading stories has been a great part of our journey to finding laughter and a little magic on the journey."
