Tonight’s ￡3.8 million jackpot truly is dream come true money. The winning number will be drawn at around 7.45pm tonight and the Thunderball results will be drawn half an hour after that - here’s the latest on tonight’s draws.

       The National Lottery says Lotto is the "nation's favourite game”, with such huge prizes up for grabs every week it’s easy to see why.

       Tonight’s jackpot has been bumped up from ￡2 million after Brits failed to match all the numbers needed to claim the top prize in Wednesday's draw.

       If no one manages to secure the top prize the jackpot will be rolled over to the next draw on October 20.

       On non-draw days Brits can buy lotto tickets between 6am and 11pm.

       But to be in with a chance of winning tonight’s jackpot, players must buy a ticket before 7.30pm today.

       Lotto tickets cost ￡2 a play and can be bought via the National Lottery website or app.

       Alternatively, lotto tickets are on sale at most post offices, petrol stations and supermarkets.

       Players need to pick six numbers from 1 to 59 or they can opt for a Lucky Dip.

       By selecting a Lucky Dip numbers are randomly chosen for you.

       Lotto draws take place every Wednesday and Saturday, and players need to be aged 18 or over.

       Players can buy up to seven lines of numbers on each ticket.

       Overall, lotto players can purchase up to 10 slips at any time - with a maximum of seven lines of numbers per slip.

       With each line costing ￡2 the most, any player can spend for one draw is capped at ￡140.

       Lotto isn’t the only game offered by the National Lottery - the Thunderball numbers will also be drawn tonight.

       For just ￡1 per play, Thunderball players could be in with a chance of grabbing a jackpot prize of ￡500,000.

       Thunderball numbers are drawn every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
