A photograph posted on social media, reportedly of the site, showed police vehicles and fire engines outside the hotel.
Speaking to Express.co.uk an employee said Queen’s Hotel is now fully reopen, and “everything is safe”.
The reason for the earlier evacuation is currently unclear.
Queen’s Hotel, situated on the Brighton seafront, is located by the Brighton Centre where Sir Keir Starmer is hosting Labour’s annual gathering.
Earlier More Radio, a Sussex radio station, tweeted: “Incident at Queen's Hotel, Kings Road on Brighton seafront this morning.
“The hotel has been evacuated, emergency services on the scene.
“The hotel is located metres from the Brighton Centre where the Labour Conference is being held.”
