PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 14,516 new Covid-19 cases on Monday (July 26), bringing the cumulative total to 1,027,954.

       Selangor recorded the highest number of cases at 6,508, followed by Johor (1,449), Kuala Lumpur (1,425) and Kedah (1,160).

       In the same 24-hour period, there were 207 fatalities, bringing the death toll to 8,201.

       There were also 9,372 recoveries, which means 853,913 have recovered from the disease nationwide.

       There are still 1,009 patients in intensive care units, with 524 requiring ventilator support.
