Senior members of the Royal Family represent the crown in an official capacity, attending royal engagements and meeting members of the public as representatives of the Queen. But some senior royals complete more royal engagements than others, with the Queen's daughter Princess Anne often topping the leaderboard.
Analysis of the Court Circular by SavoyStewart.co.uk found Princess Anne has completed more royal engagements than any other royal so far this year.
Up to September 15, Anne has completed 110 engagements this year, and she has worked 106 days.
But following closely behind is Prince Charles, who in second place has worked for 100 days this year and has completed 101 royal engagements.
In third place is the Queen, who has worked 96 engagements over 94 days so far this year.

But the number of engagements the Queen has attended this year will grow significantly in October, when she returns to her duties at Buckingham Palace.
The Queen is currently enjoying a well-earned summer break at Balmoral in Scotland.
The data also found July was a hugely busy month for the royals, coinciding with the easing of lockdown restrictions in England.
July proved to be the month with the most working days for Princess Anne, Prince Charles, Princess Alexandra, Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, and the Queen.

Princess Anne's brother and future King, Prince Charles, has also been named the hardest-working royal in previous years.
And Prince Charles still has the chance to close the gap on his younger sister's record this year as 2021 isn't over yet.
The siblings frequently take turns to be crowned Britain's hardest-working royal when the tallies of royal engagements are counted every year.
Both siblings clearly get their strong work ethic from the Queen, who at the age of 95 continues to put her royal duties ahead of everything else.
