The Chancellor will urge G20 Finance Ministers to work together to solve the issues, which has left many supermarket shelves empty and make sure chains are more resilient in the future. Speaking before his visit Mr Sunak said "global co-operation is key to addressing our shared challenges as we emerge from the pandemic."
The trip comes as the UK continues to struggle with a shortage of HGV drivers which impacts supermarket and fuel deliveries which some have warned could cause major disruption to shoppers going into the Christmas period.
Mr Sunak will also call on his international counterparts from the whole G20 to boost their support to poorer nations to continue the global transition to net zero.
